The cost of LASIK
Experienced Surgeons, the most modern medical technology and an all encompassing high quality care has it's price - a fair price. The prices below include the costs for the pre-treatment assessment, the treatment and the post-treatment assessments for the first month post-treatment. ( from 01.03.2008)

Treatment costs per procedure
•  Basic-LASIK: from 1.180,- Euro* per eye
•  Comfort-LASIK: from 1.750,- Euro* per eye
•  Premium-Femto-LASIK ("all Laser" LASIK): from 2.450,- Euro* per eye
*	these calculations are based on fee regulations governed by German Law (Gebührenordnung für Ärzte) All the prices are approximations and can in certain cases vary.

Basic-LASIK:
For patients falling within the bounds of the following refractive errors:
Long-sightedness to a max. +1 Dioptres,
Short-sightedness to a max. -3 Dioptres,
Astigmatism to a max. -1 Dioptres.

Comfort-LASIK:
Suitable fro patients with higher refractive errors than as stated in Basic-LASIK. The Comfort-LASIK has a Tissue-saving treatment profile.

Premium-Femto-LASIK ("all laser" LASIK!):
The individualised Laser treatment.
With a Wave-front guided LASIK treatment and Flap-Preparation with the Femtosecond Laser.

In the above treatments, the pre-treatment and post-treatment assessments in the first month after treatment are included in the price as quoted.

Government regulated medical insurances do not reimburse the costs of a treatment, however private medical insurances do in many cases reimburse some if not all the costs of a LASIK treatment.
